Social Value Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Social Value Manager to join our market‑leading construction multidisciplinary team in London. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will drive social value strategy across bids and contracts, ensuring our commitments deliver measurable community impact.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop social value opportunities for new bids.
• Write compelling social value responses for bid submissions.
• Analyse client feedback on social value proposals and refine approaches.
• Implement and monitor social value commitments throughout contract periods.
• Produce regular progress reports and create a system to measure social value outcomes.
• Organise volunteer opportunities and manage partnerships with NGOs and government bodies.
• Evaluate initiative effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
• Represent the company at external events and support business development activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in social value (SV) roles.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Relevant degree and proven track record writing SV content for bids.
• Experience working within budgets and delivering results.
