Social Worker – Mental Health (Full/Part Time)

About the role

The successful candidate will join an experienced social care team delivering mental health social work services for adults. You may be based in Crediton or work remotely, supporting either community work or hospital discharge pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a social care pathway in line with the Care Act 2014.
• Provide person‑centred assessment, support planning, safeguarding and review.
• Work collaboratively with statutory and voluntary partners.
• Involve service users and carers in delivering high‑quality, equitable services.

Required profile

• Qualified Social Worker (CQSW, DipSW, BA Hons, MA or equivalent) registered with Social Work England.
• Completion of the Assessed First Year in post‑qualifying practice (if applicable).
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and up‑to‑date knowledge of policy and practice.
• Current full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
