Software Developer – Hybrid (Reading)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast-growing software company in Reading that creates award-winning products within the Salesforce ecosystem and invests heavily in AI and emerging technologies. The role is hybrid (three days in the office) and offers the chance to work closely with the Founder and a small, experienced engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance features across Salesforce, Azure-hosted services and backend systems.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code using C#, Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build and consume REST APIs, work with SQL databases and Azure services such as App Services and Functions.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions, code reviews and agile planning sessions.
• Leverage AI tools to improve development workflow and support data-modelling and integration tasks.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of C#, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and SQL.
• Familiarity with Git, automated testing and agile methodologies.
• Willingness to learn Salesforce and explore AI-driven technologies.
