Software Developer in Test (SDET) – London

About the role

MillTech is seeking a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join its full‑stack product team. You will work with product managers, designers, engineers and subject‑matter experts to ensure high‑quality FX and cash‑management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive quality from conception through to the finished product.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Maintain and expand automated testing processes and regression packs.
• Identify, report and collaborate on resolving defects.
• Contribute to architectural decisions with a focus on testability.
• Track QA metrics such as defect density and open defect counts.

Required profile

• Graduate degree (or equivalent).
• Experience working with foreign‑exchange systems.
• Strong spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Playwright for test automation.
• JavaScript programming.
• SQL query expertise.
• White‑box and black‑box testing techniques.
• Use of AI tools for test planning and analysis.
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools.
