Software Developer (Java / Oracle) - SC Cleared

About the role

Our high‑profile banking client is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a collaborative team supporting a critical payments platform. The role is hybrid (50% onsite) and runs for six months, requiring an active Security Clearance (SC).

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain enterprise‑grade Java/Oracle applications.
• Work closely with a delivery group to design, code, test and deploy new features.
• Ensure code quality, performance and maintainability through best practices.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues and contribute to incident resolution.
• Rapidly learn and adapt to the RTGS2 ecosystem and related banking processes.

Required profile

• Active SC clearance (mandatory).
• Proven track record in delivering code and supporting production systems.
• Strong organisational skills, self‑motivation and high integrity.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team.
