Software Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead agile teams delivering secure, resilient enterprise applications. Based in London with a hybrid working model, you will shape technical strategy and drive product delivery for a global software provider.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple agile development squads focused on internal and client‑facing applications.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, infrastructure and product teams to ensure secure, scalable releases.
• Define and enforce best practices for application security, identity & access management, and platform resiliency.
• Mentor engineers, foster inclusive team culture and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure).

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience leading software development teams in agile environments.
• Strong background in large, distributed systems and the Microsoft technology stack.
• Proven ability to balance technical strategy with hands‑on delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
