Software Engineer – AI Agent (Italian speaking)

About the role

As a Software Engineer focusing on AI agents, you will design, build and ship production‑grade agents that operate at scale across industries such as finance, healthcare and commerce. The role requires end‑to‑end ownership of the Agent Development Life Cycle and close collaboration with enterprise customers and innovative startups.

Key responsibilities

• Design and ship production‑grade AI agents that run at scale across finance, healthcare and commerce.
• Own the full Agent Development Life Cycle from pilot to continuous iteration, establishing best practices.
• Collaborate directly with large enterprises and cutting‑edge startups in London to solve real business challenges with AI agents.
• Shape Sierra’s core platform by surfacing customer needs, prototyping new tools and working with research and product teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and scaling end‑to‑end production systems.
• Strong technical problem‑solving skills in fast‑changing, ambiguous environments.
• Hands‑on, builder mindset with high agency to overcome obstacles.
• Comfort interacting directly with customers to understand and address real‑world problems.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Experience deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
• Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines and prompt engineering.
• Knowledge of React, TypeScript and/or Go.
