About the role
AJ Bell is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join a cross‑functional Agile team. You will work on a modern technology stack, delivering services and APIs that support the company’s investment platform and its customers.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain C#‑based services and APIs.
- Collaborate with product owners and other engineers to deliver backlog items on time.
- Implement secure development practices and ensure code quality.
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, including messaging, containerisation and cloud deployment.
Required profile
- Strong experience in C# development and API design.
- Proven ability to work in an Agile, DevOps‑oriented environment.
- Excellent communication, documentation and problem‑solving skills.
- Attention to detail while maintaining flexibility to choose the best technology for each task.
