Software Engineer – Cloud‑Native Applications

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, build and deliver modern cloud‑native applications across large‑scale programmes. You will work on cutting‑edge digital products, leveraging AWS and contemporary engineering practices to create high‑quality, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop cloud‑native applications using Java, TypeScript, Python, C# or Go.
• Build and deploy services on AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, etc.).
• Design microservices and serverless architectures.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery.
• Work with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) to deploy scalable services.
• Ensure quality through unit and integration testing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an agile environment.
• Contribute to performance, security and observability in production systems.

Required profile

• Experience with at least one backend language (Java, TypeScript, Python, C# or Go).
• Strong exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of microservices, APIs and modern application architecture.
• Experience with Docker or containerised deployments.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, collaborative environments.
