Software Engineer – Defence Tech (London)

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and test core platforms and user‑facing applications.
• Develop systems that enable collaboration between autonomous platforms and large‑scale sensor data processing.
• Transform complex data into clear, intuitive user experiences.
• Write reliable, high‑quality code for mission‑critical environments.
• Work closely with end users to iterate quickly on features.
• Integrate and test software with robotics and autonomous systems.
• Collaborate across AI/ML, networking, and robotics teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong programming skills in backend (C++, Java, Rust, Python) or frontend (TypeScript/JavaScript – React, Angular).
• Curiosity and willingness to work across the full stack.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities in fast‑paced environments.
• Willingness to obtain UK security clearance (SC+).
