Software Engineer – DV Clearance Required

About the role

Our client is expanding a high‑performing engineering team that supports mission‑critical environments. They are looking for a Software Engineer who holds a current DV (Developed Vetting) clearance and is passionate about building, securing and automating modern technology platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain highly automated platforms for development, testing, security and deployment.
• Create and optimise CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions.
• Embed security controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Provide tooling, guidance and best‑practice support to engineering teams.
• Drive automation, reduce manual processes and improve platform reliability and observability.
• Manage source control, deployment frameworks and engineering tooling.
• Support incident response and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current, live DV clearance is essential.
• Professional experience in software development and engineering.
• Familiarity with modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, IaC, cloud‑native and DevSecOps.
• Ability to work onsite in London and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
