Software Engineer

About the role

Allan Webb Ltd is seeking a full‑stack Software Engineer to join its Data Solutions team in Stonehouse. You will develop secure, user‑focused applications that turn complex engineering data into practical digital tools, working in a hybrid, agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack web applications using Angular for the front‑end and C#/.NET for the back‑end.
• Implement and optimise SQL database structures and queries.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate engineering requirements into software solutions.
• Adopt modern development practices, including AI‑assisted coding, code reviews and continuous integration.
• Ensure software security, performance and usability throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Commercial software development experience with a strong full‑stack focus.
• Proficiency in front‑end development using Angular.
• Solid back‑end experience with C# and the .NET framework.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL databases.
• Ability to work independently and within an agile, hybrid team.
