About the role
As a Software Engineer on Applied Intuition's UK engineering team, you will work on cutting‑edge autonomous solutions for defence customers. Your day may involve field deployments alongside forward teams, as well as designing new products that meet diverse customer requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimise high‑performance libraries, modules, and products from incubation to production.
- Write, test, and debug efficient modern C++ code for complex software solutions.
- Integrate software with customer platforms and technologies during field deployments.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and customers to understand and translate requirements.
- Build, test, and deploy software that is used in real‑world defence applications.
Required profile
- Strong programming expertise in modern C++.
- Ability to work both in the office and on‑site with customers.
- Willingness to learn from experienced engineers and adapt to varied tasks.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with product managers and defence stakeholders.
