Software Engineering Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager who puts people first while delivering high‑impact cloud‑native software. You will lead two squads, shaping both their culture and their output, in a fast‑growing, product‑led company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop two engineering squads, overseeing hiring, career growth, and performance conversations.
• Own delivery across both teams, ensuring timelines are met without compromising quality.
• Partner with each squad’s Tech Lead on architecture decisions and technical direction.
• Design and maintain on‑call rotations and escalation paths that teams find sustainable.
• Foster psychological safety and continuous improvement as core team practices.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, tech leads, and non‑technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business value.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing and growing engineering talent.
• Ability to run multi‑team delivery without loss of focus.
• Strong technical grounding in modern web stacks, preferably .NET and React, with cloud platform experience (Azure).
• Comfortable handling on‑call responsibilities and building supportive escalation processes.
• Commitment to psychological safety, continuous improvement, and clear, honest communication.
• Interest in AI‑assisted development and its impact on modern engineering practice.
