Software Engineering Manager

About the role

Content Guru is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a development team that builds and maintains applications supporting its global CX platform. The role combines technical leadership with people management, ensuring high‑quality delivery of customer‑focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Line‑manage a team of Software Engineers, handling performance reviews, development planning and recruitment.
• Oversee delivery of software projects, ensuring timelines, quality standards and agile ceremonies are met.
• Maintain technical quality, guide architectural decisions and drive improvements to processes, tooling and methodologies.
• Contribute to coding, design, testing and deployment activities while ensuring proper documentation.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives across teams and support skill development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of commercial software development experience.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring or managing software engineers.
• Strong communication, organisational and collaborative skills.
