Software Quality Assurance Tester (Hybrid)

About the role

This permanent position offers a hybrid working model for a motivated Software Quality Assurance Tester. You will help ensure the high quality and robustness of clinical coding and notation software used by NHS bodies across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Development and Support teams to guarantee quality of SaaS and PC applications.
• Create and execute functional, customer‑scenario, stress, performance and scalability tests.
• Document test failures in tracking systems and support investigation of user‑reported issues.
• Perform regression testing after issue resolution and coordinate with developers for swift fixes.
• Assist business users and stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing to align software with business goals.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in QA or software testing.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
• Methodical approach with a focus on delivering an excellent end‑user experience.
• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with JIRA or similar issue‑tracking tools.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with functional, performance and stress testing techniques.
• ISTQB certification (preferred).
