About the role
We are seeking a qualified electrician to join a leading renewable energy company as a Solar PV Operations & Maintenance Engineer. You will be based locally in Yorkshire & Humberside, covering a patch of domestic and commercial solar installations and ensuring they run safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on solar PV systems.
- Diagnose faults, conduct testing and carry out repairs.
- Maintain system performance and reliability across a defined local area.
- Document maintenance activities and report issues.
Required profile
- Fully qualified electrician with relevant certifications.
- Proven experience installing solar PV systems on domestic or commercial sites.
- Full UK driving licence.
Required skills
- Solar PV system installation.
- Solar PV fault finding.
- Solar PV testing and maintenance.
- Electrical safety and compliance.
