Solderer – Electronics Manufacturing (Brighton)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Solderer to join a well‑established electronics manufacturer in Brighton. This temporary role offers the chance to become permanent after a successful qualifying period, providing hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Hand solder electronic components to printed circuit boards (PCBs) and assemblies.
• Assemble finished electronic products according to customer specifications.
• Inspect work to ensure high quality and accuracy.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions.
• Meet productivity and quality targets in a fast‑moving setting.
• Rework and repair soldered components when required.
• Support other production areas and undertake cross‑training as needed.

Required profile

• Previous soldering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
