Solicitor – Conveyancing Department

About the role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Solicitor to join a busy, well‑established Conveyancing Department in Bolton. You will manage residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, providing high‑quality client care throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own residential conveyancing caseload, handling sales, purchases and transfers.
• Advise clients throughout the conveyancing journey and maintain strong relationships with estate agents, mortgage brokers and other professionals.
• Prioritise workload, meet deadlines and delegate work where appropriate.
• Identify opportunities to develop existing client relationships and generate new business.
• Maintain accurate case records using the firm’s case management system and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year post‑qualification experience (PQE) in residential conveyancing.
• Proven ability to manage an independent conveyancing caseload.
• Experience with residential sales, purchases and related property transactions.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• Professional, proactive and client‑focused approach.
