Solicitor – Conveyancing, Employment & Family Law

About the role

J.Preedy Solicitors is seeking a qualified Solicitor to join its London team on a full‑time hybrid basis. You will manage a diverse caseload, provide clear legal advice and represent clients across conveyancing, employment, commercial real estate and family law matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage own caseload and progress matters in line with firm standards.
• Provide legal advice, draft and review contracts, agreements and other documents.
• Represent clients in negotiations, courts and tribunals where appropriate.
• Meet with clients, assess legal issues and maintain accurate file and billing records.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases and contribute to business development through networking and client relationship management.
• Uphold high ethical standards and support the firm’s reputation in the London community.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with a strong foundation in law.
• Current knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
• Experience in residential/commercial conveyancing, labor and employment law, commercial real estate and an interest in family law.
• Excellent analytical, drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Strong client communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal case management systems.
• Competence in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
