Solicitor - Private Wealth

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a specialist Private Wealth team in Southampton. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to manage a diverse caseload of private client matters while developing trusted client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, lifetime planning documents and manage estate administration.
• Handle trust‑related work and other private client matters.
• Provide clear, empathetic advice to clients on personal wealth decisions.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support their development.
• Participate in marketing and business‑development activities to grow the practice.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Private Wealth or Private Client work.
• 1‑4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent readiness for the role).
• Strong communication skills and a client‑centred approach.
• Ability to manage an independent caseload and handle sensitive conversations.
• Interest in long‑term relationship building and business development.
