Solicitor – Vehicle Hire & Damage Litigation

About the role

Join a forward‑thinking law firm renowned for insurance litigation, working within a dedicated Vehicle Hire and Damage team. You will manage a diverse caseload of credit hire and vehicle damage disputes, ranging from small‑claims to multi‑track matters.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of litigated credit hire and damage cases from inception to resolution.
• Provide commercially focused legal advice to insurer and self‑insured corporate clients.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure compliance with service level agreements and performance metrics.
• Identify and address risk and compliance issues, supporting the team’s financial and operational targets.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to drive collective success.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with full litigation rights.
• Proven experience handling credit hire and vehicle damage claims, or broader motor/civil litigation exposure.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a busy caseload independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and sound decision‑making ability.
