Solution Architect / Solution Designer (Hybrid, Swindon)

About the role

This contract position is based in Swindon with a hybrid working model. The client is undertaking a migration from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and needs an experienced Solution Architect / Solution Designer to provide additional architectural support and help deliver the migration on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver robust solution architectures for a legacy ERP migration.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define designs that meet business requirements.
• Produce clear, practical solution designs in a fast‑paced delivery environment.
• Interpret ambiguous or incomplete requirements and translate them into well‑defined technical solutions.
• Support the successful delivery of a brownfield transformation programme.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Solution Designer, or Integration‑focused Technical Designer on complex business systems programmes.
• Strong background with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or LS Central.
• Experience with EPOS/POS systems and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV legacy migrations.
• Ability to work quickly, handle ambiguity and deliver high‑quality designs.
