Solutions Architect – Microsoft Dynamics CE

About the role

ICAEW is seeking a Solutions Architect to design and deliver scalable, user‑centred solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) platform. The role supports ICAEW’s strategic goals by enabling secure, integrated, and future‑ready CRM capabilities for members, customers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design extensible, modular Dynamics CE solutions following configuration‑over‑customisation best practices.
• Ensure solutions are user‑centric, maintainable and meet business needs across membership, sales, service and marketing.
• Provide architectural oversight across the Dynamics CE lifecycle, enforcing security, integration and design standards.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to capture requirements and align solutions with service delivery objectives.
• Advance ICAEW’s Dynamics architecture practice by evolving design patterns, reusable assets and CRM roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities to simplify configuration, reduce custom code and improve data quality and reporting.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE solutions, preferably in membership or professional services.
• Strong understanding of Power Platform capabilities and Dataverse.
• Proven experience with secure, API‑led, cloud‑native integration in Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps, source control and CI/CD for Dynamics solutions.
• Experience delivering projects within agile, multi‑system environments.
