Sortation Operative – Warehouse Role

About the role

Join Amazon’s busy Sort Centre in St. Helens as a Sortation Operative. You will work on day or night shifts, helping to move millions of items through the fulfilment network.

Key responsibilities

• Unload, lift and relocate products throughout the warehouse.
• Scan, sort and divert packages using handheld devices.
• Operate industrial trucks, forklifts and power pallets to move goods.
• Work both indoors and outdoors while maintaining a safe environment for the team and delivery partners.

Required profile

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods (8+ hours per shift).
• Capability to lift items up to 23 kg and perform bending, twisting, kneeling and crouching.
• Willingness to handle a wide range of Amazon products, including alcohol and meat items.
• No prior experience required – full training will be provided.
