Space Project Management Placement – 12‑Month Internship

About the role

Join the Project Management Team within Airbus Defence and Space’s Antenna Delivery team. You will support the delivery of high‑value spacecraft antenna projects, gaining hands‑on experience in end‑to‑end aerospace project management.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day coordination, tracking project scope, schedule, budget and risks.
• Contribute to customer‑facing reviews and essential project communications.
• Develop understanding of project‑management principles, risk management and supply‑chain coordination in an aerospace context.
• Collaborate effectively within diverse, multi‑disciplinary teams to drive project progress.
• Utilise industry‑standard tools (Google Suite and Microsoft Office) to prepare high‑quality presentations, reports and documentation.

Required profile

• Undergraduate studying Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering, Physics, Business or a related field, remaining an undergraduate for the full placement.
• Interest in engineering, aerospace and space sectors.
• Experience with engineering projects through university coursework or work‑experience placements.
• Strong teamwork, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.

• Salary: £24,500 per year.
