About the role
The Spanish Document Review Lawyer will support a top‑tier London law firm by reviewing legal documents written in Spanish, ensuring accuracy, relevance and confidentiality. This temporary, full‑time position requires strong legal expertise and bilingual fluency to assist the legal department on eDiscovery projects.
Key responsibilities
- Review and analyse Spanish legal documents for relevance, confidentiality and privilege.
- Provide precise translations between Spanish and English.
- Conduct document review on eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity.
- Perform first‑ and second‑level quality checks on privileged material.
- Communicate findings clearly with the team and clients.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
Required profile
- Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Valid practising certificate in the UK or another jurisdiction.
- Solid understanding of legal processes, terminology and document review methodology.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar legal document review role.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
Required skills
- Experience using eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity.
