Spanish Teacher – Full‑time, September start in Leeds

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Spanish teacher to join a forward‑thinking secondary school in Leeds from September 2026. This full‑time, long‑term position offers the chance to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 and potentially progress to a permanent role.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons for mixed‑ability classes.
• Develop pupils’ speaking, listening, reading and writing proficiency.
• Foster cultural awareness and confidence in communication.
• Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Create an inclusive, enjoyable classroom environment.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as language clubs or cultural events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Spanish or a related discipline.
• Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Passion for language and cultural education.
