About the role
Reeson Education is supporting a Good-rated secondary school in Lambeth, London, to recruit a full‑time Spanish Teacher starting September 2026. The role offers the chance to work in a vibrant, diverse community with modern facilities and a forward‑looking MFL department.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Spanish lessons in line with the latest examination specifications.
- Maintain accurate attendance and assessment records using the SIMS system.
- Follow the department’s scheme of work and the school’s teaching, health and safety, and behaviour policies.
- Mark, assess and provide feedback on student work, supporting both academic and personal development.
- Participate in in‑service training, classroom observations and departmental meetings.
Required profile
- Proven experience teaching Spanish to Key Stage 4/5 students.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Commitment to high‑quality teaching and continuous professional development.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to subject development.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the SIMS student information system.
- Effective use of ICT resources to enhance learning.
