Spanish Teacher – Secondary School (Leeds)

About the role

Reed Education is partnering with a welcoming secondary school in Leeds to hire a passionate Spanish Teacher for the September 2026 start. The role involves delivering high‑quality Spanish instruction to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils and preparing them for GCSE examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Develop students' speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
• Prepare learners for GCSE Spanish assessments.
• Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment.
• Support extracurricular language activities and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• A degree in Spanish, Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Spanish at KS3 and KS4 (GCSE experience desirable).
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Required skills

• Ability to teach Spanish across all language domains.
• Capability to teach a second language, such as French, is advantageous.
