Speak Up Support Specialist

About the role
The Speak Up Support Specialist will work closely with the Speak Up Manager to ensure the day‑to‑day operation of the Speak Up service runs smoothly. This role is central to receiving, triaging, managing and reporting employee concerns in a confidential, fair and consistent manner.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Speak Up Manager with daily delivery and operation of the Speak Up service.
- Ensure concerns are received, triaged, escalated and reported according to policy.
- Coordinate case intake and maintain accurate records.
- Promote awareness of the Speak Up function across employees, contractors and third parties.
- Build trust and confidence in the Speak Up process and support Post Office’s commitment to openness and accountability.
Required profile
- Experience in a confidential governance, compliance, investigations, ethics, risk or whistleblowing environment.
- Current knowledge of whistleblowing legislation (PIDA) and best‑practice guidance.
- Proven ability to triage, think critically and follow escalation processes.
- Demonstrated discretion handling sensitive information.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse trends, produce MI and present findings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience with case‑management or reporting systems and delivering awareness sessions.
