Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher – Primary School

About the role

We are partnering with a welcoming primary school in Brent to recruit an experienced SEN Teacher starting September 2026. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, inclusive instruction to small, mixed‑age groups of up to ten pupils with special educational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver tailored lessons that support academic, social and emotional development.
• Stay current with SEN legislation, research and best practice, applying new strategies school‑wide.
• Foster an inclusive classroom culture and mentor colleagues on SEN provision.
• Monitor progress using assessment data, identify gaps and design personalised interventions.
• Collaborate with class teachers, support staff, parents and external agencies to ensure consistent support.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching or supporting pupils with SEN across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Reflective, proactive team player with a commitment to continuous improvement.
