About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join a special needs school in Royston. This position starts as a temporary role with the possibility of becoming permanent, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on students with diverse learning requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver individualized lessons tailored to a range of special needs.
- Assess and record student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet each learner's needs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to support student development.
- Implement and adapt curriculum materials and educational practices for SEN requirements.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in special educational needs education.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
