About the role
The school is a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting that supports pupils with moderate learning difficulties, autism and behavioural challenges. They are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to start immediately, working both in whole‑class environments and one‑to‑one settings with children aged 10‑16.
Key responsibilities
- Assist pupils in whole‑class lessons, ensuring inclusive participation.
- Provide one‑to‑one support for students with autism or specific learning needs.
- Help manage challenging behaviour and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
Required profile
- Good knowledge and understanding of autism.
- Ability to work with pupils displaying challenging behaviour.
- Passionate, caring attitude; experience is valued but not mandatory.
