About the role
A special school in North London is seeking a dedicated Special Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11‑16 with learning difficulties, including autism and complex needs. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, and is expected to continue until at least July 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Provide classroom assistance to pupils with diverse learning needs, helping them engage with the curriculum.
- Build positive relationships with students, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with SEN teachers and therapists to implement individualized support plans.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic, caring personality with a genuine passion for working with special‑needs children.
- Commitment to a full‑time schedule and willingness to stay in the role long‑term.
