About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join schools across South East London from September 2026. You will work within an education agency that supports children with a range of SEND needs, providing flexible placement options to match your availability.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
- Deliver 1:1 assistance, small‑group support, or classroom aide duties in specialist and mainstream settings.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement individualized learning plans.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and behaviour.
Required profile
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND, preferably in a school environment.
- A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
