Specialised SEND Tutor – 1‑1 Support in Warrington

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified specialist to deliver one‑to‑one SEND tuition and mentoring in the Warrington area. The role combines classroom teaching of core subjects with personalised life‑skills support to help young people thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one instruction in core subjects for SEND pupils.
• Plan and lead local trips to promote community integration.
• Support pupils with CV writing, future planning and essential life‑skills development.
• Collaborate with families and professionals to tailor individual learning plans.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience working with SEND or disengaged learners in the UK.
• Creative, patient and able to think outside the box.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional child‑related references.
