Specialist Hygiene Technician – Bristol Area

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join our Bristol team, covering Plymouth, Exeter and surrounding areas. The role involves delivering a wide range of hygiene and cleaning services to commercial and institutional clients, with full training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bio‑hazard cleaning, flood water damage remediation, infection control, police and prison cell cleaning, sharps removal, trauma and crime‑scene cleaning.
• Carry out technical cleaning tasks such as factory cleans, high‑level work and silo cleaning.
• Work reactively in a fast‑paced environment, adapting to changing weekly priorities.
• Participate in an on‑call rota (typically twice a quarter) to respond to urgent incidents.
• Provide expert advice to customers and maintain a professional image at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and proactive with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied patterns and on‑call shifts.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the assignment.
