Specialist Hygiene Technician – Croydon

About the role

Rentokil is looking for a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join its Croydon branch, covering South West and South East London. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided. You will work independently, managing your own schedule while delivering a range of specialised cleaning services to diverse customers.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to reactive cleaning requests in a fast‑paced environment.
• Participate in an on‑call rota and work at an enhanced rate for out‑of‑hours calls.
• Provide expert advice to customers and maintain a professional image.
• Deliver bio‑hazard, flood‑water, infection‑control, sharps removal, crime‑scene, factory, high‑level and silo cleaning services.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental standards while working at heights or in confined spaces.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, proactive and flexible with working patterns.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check where required.
