Specialist Mentor – Autism Support (Part‑time)

About the role
Randstad Student Support is seeking a Specialist Mentor (ASC) to provide dedicated academic support for students with autism and specific learning difficulties at the University of Bedfordshire. This part‑time, flexible position starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student success.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver personalised learning plans for individual students.
- Provide one‑to‑one academic guidance and support.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff and external agencies.
- Utilise educational technology tools to enhance learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.
Required profile
- Passion for supporting neurodiverse learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to complete National Autistic Society training (support provided).
