Specialist Notetaker – Part‑time Academic Support

About the role

Randstad Student Support is looking for reliable individuals to provide specialist notetaking for students with disabilities at a university in Ormskirk. This part‑time role allows you to attend lectures, gain knowledge and support learners while earning £12.71 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate, legible notes for lectures, seminars, tutorials and group tasks.
• Review and format notes after each session to ensure accessibility for the student.
• Maintain a professional relationship with students and uphold confidentiality at all times.
• Act in the best interests of learners while following institutional policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Randstad to address individual student needs promptly.

Required profile

• Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
• Strong spelling and grammar abilities.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to work quickly under time constraints.
• Good organisational and time‑management skills.
