Specialist Occupational Therapist – Maternity Cover

About the role

Outcomes First Group is seeking a Specialist Occupational Therapist on a maternity‑cover basis to work across Dibden Park School and Bower Lodge School. You will deliver specialist OT assessment and intervention, supporting pupils to develop independence within an education setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for pupils across both sites.
• Design and implement individualized intervention plans that promote functional independence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and healthcare professionals, to integrate therapy goals into daily routines.
• Participate in research projects, special interest groups, and regular OT network training sessions.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the continuous improvement of therapeutic services.

Required profile

• Qualified Occupational Therapist (registered with the HCPC).
• Experience working with children and young people in an educational or clinical setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to split time between two school sites (2.5 days each).

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contract until July 2027 with a salary up to £53,200 pro rata.
