Specialist Protection Adviser

About the role

Lifesearch is seeking an experienced Protection Adviser to join its specialist team. You will work on high‑value Business Protection, Group Protection and Inheritance Tax cases for affluent individuals and businesses, helping them secure the right protection solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored protection recommendations to engaged clients, covering Business Protection, Group Protection and Inheritance Tax planning.
• Manage complex cases, including underwriting nuances and technical queries.
• Collaborate with wealth‑management partners, sharing insights, feedback and case studies.
• Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with key partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience writing Business Protection and Inheritance Tax cases (essential).
• Exposure to Group Protection (desirable).
• Strong background working with high‑net‑worth wealth‑management clients.
• Confidence handling complex, technical client needs.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven mindset with a focus on continuous development.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Personal Protection, Business Protection and Inheritance Tax products.
• Understanding of underwriting processes and technical documentation.
• R05 qualification (preferred but not essential).
