Specialist Services Manager – Secure Managed Services (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Services Manager to lead a large, complex, and highly secure Managed Service for government clients. The role involves ensuring compliance with stringent security standards, overseeing day‑to‑day operations, and driving continuous improvement across the service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, grow and maintain activities within the Managed Service, ensuring technical currency across a wide range of technologies.
• Design, develop and deliver interventions aligned with customer frameworks and security policies.
• Plan and administer complex activities, creating strategy and policy for the service.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with internal teams, third‑party suppliers, contractors and customer authorities.
• Coach and mentor team members, fostering a ‘One Team’ approach.
• Support cost‑reduction initiatives and communicate business strategies clearly.

Required profile

• Extensive experience implementing and running highly complex secure IT platform strategies.
• Proven ability to manage high‑profile stakeholders and maintain security policy, assurance and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of government security policies and accreditation processes.
• Active DV clearance is mandatory.
