Specialty Doctor - Old Age Psychiatry (Locum)

About the role

Direct Medics is recruiting a locum Specialty Doctor in Old Age Psychiatry in Cumbria, working through its Psychiatry department. The post is full time, on site, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, running from 7 November 2026 to 26 May 2027.

Required profile

• Old age experience
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act Section 12 (essential)
• Desirable: MRCP qualification
• Valid GMC registration with full licence to practice
• Right to work in the UK
• At least 6 months of medical experience in this role or a similar one in the UK
