Specification Engineer

About the role

The Specification Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing and supporting construction projects by delivering tailored technical solutions and ensuring compliance with industrial and manufacturing standards. This permanent position offers the chance to work with innovative IPE products, contributing to sustainable, efficient, and high‑quality designs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical specifications for construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industrial, manufacturing standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and implement appropriate solutions.
• Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for material selection.
• Support the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and technical drawings.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented specifications.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering qualification such as HNC/HND in Civil Engineering.
• Experience designing and developing solutions for construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of technical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in preparing technical documentation and specifications.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders.
• Ideally based in the North West (desirable but not essential).
