Specification Sales Manager – Flooring

About the role

The Specification Sales Manager – Flooring & Interior Products will lead field sales of a full range of manufactured floor coverings, targeting architects, interior designers, fit‑out contractors and end users across North London, the Northern Home Counties and Anglia.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business by promoting carpet tiles, multi‑loop, low‑level loop and full repeatable scroll (FRS) products.
• Manage and grow a project bank, invoicing approximately £500,000 in year one and expanding the pipeline to £3‑5 million.
• Utilise ABI leads and the in‑house CRM database to identify and develop opportunities.
• Collaborate with two existing field sales professionals covering London.
• Deliver presentations and specifications to architects, interior designers and commercial clients in sectors such as office, education and student accommodation.

Required profile

• Proven track record selling into the architects or interior‑design specification market, preferably within flooring or carpet.
• Existing contacts with architects, interior designers, fit‑out contractors or end users are advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen and presentation abilities.
• Team‑player with high energy, passion and enthusiasm for tactile, aesthetic sales.

What we offer

• Base salary of £60,000 per year plus up to £10,000 commission guarantee.
