Specification Sales Manager – LED Lighting

About the role

As a Specification Sales Manager – LED Lighting you will promote a high‑end range of commercial LED lighting products across workspace, office, healthcare and education projects. You will spend most of your time winning specifications with local authorities, healthcare trusts, M&E consultants and consulting engineers, while also building relationships with M&E contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell high‑end commercial LED lighting solutions to specifiers.
• Target workspace, office, healthcare and education projects across the Midlands.
• Secure specifications with local authorities, healthcare trusts, M&E consultants and consulting engineers.
• Develop and protect specifications with M&E contractors.
• Collaborate with a fellow field sales professional focused on M&E contractors.
• Manage projects ranging from £10,000 to £500,000 (average £40,000).

Required profile

• Experience in lighting specification field sales.
• Existing contacts within local authorities, healthcare trusts, M&E consultants and consulting engineers (beneficial).
• Background working on workspace, office, healthcare and education projects.
• Vibrant, energetic and full of life.
• Highly organised, trustworthy and capable.

Required skills

• LED lighting product knowledge.
• Lighting controls expertise.
• Building Management Systems (BMS) familiarity.
• Smart systems and other electrical technology solutions.

• Salary £60,000‑£65,000 per year plus a £5,000‑£10,000 Year‑one bonus.
