Speech and Language Graduate – Support SEN Pupils

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking recent Speech and Language Therapy graduates to join a large special educational needs (SEN) school in the Cheadle Hulme area of Stockport. This full‑time, temp‑to‑perm role offers the chance to develop practical experience supporting pupils aged 4‑19 with complex needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group speech and language support to pupils.
• Collaborate regularly with class teachers and the school’s SLT team to monitor and record progress.
• Assist in preparing engaging, therapeutic learning resources.

Required profile

• Recent degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake).
• Experience of supporting SEN pupils during placements.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
