Speech and Language Therapist – Fieldstone School

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Fieldstone School, delivering specialist assessment and intervention for pupils across Ashburton and Newton House sites. The role combines clinical practice with opportunities for research, training and professional development in a supportive education environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and tailored therapy interventions for pupils.
- Collaborate with teachers, clinicians and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to multidisciplinary case reviews.
- Participate in research projects, special interest groups and regular training sessions.
- Travel between school sites using own vehicle and ensure timely service delivery.
Required profile
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist, registered with the appropriate professional body.
- Full, valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
- Commitment to a 37.5‑hour week, Monday‑Friday schedule.
- Willingness to work term‑time or discuss flexible full‑time arrangements.
Required skills
What we offer
- Salary up to £53,200 per annum, DOE.
- £3,000 welcome bonus payable in two instalments.
- £2,000 training allowance after probation for CPD.
- Permanent contract with potential flexible working.
